I believe Peter Headland probably hit it on the head when he said, "This
group is self-reflecting to be more technically literate and questioning
than the population at large". Many here probably fit into a subset of
individuals that are more educated and even a little more disciplined in
their fitness awareness than the population as a whole. We are more apt to
do the Kegels and follow medical instructions and therefore will have a
better outcome than those individuals that are more reluctant to do what
is necessary for a more positive outcome. We may even be in that top 20 to
25 percentile.

For one thing, Usenet users are typically more comfortable with
computers and technology than the general population. A lot of
people never get beyond email and the web, and of course
there are some who never use computers at all.
