Thank God you didn't find a Chinese cure-all herb page.  <g>

That's what I hoped the end result would be.  The tests are
just that - TESTS.  You receive the results and then decide
on what course of action - or none - to follow.

Having the tests doesn't commit you to treatment.  Go for
test after test after test (whatever insurance will cover)
and make your decision(s) after that.

I've been getting PSA tests every 3 to 6 months, had 2
biopsies, countless CTs and bone scans, and still haven't
submitted to treatment.  That's mainly because of the lies,
half-truths, incompetence and bedside manners of the
urologists in the past 6-1/2 years (June 2001 to present).

HI CalifChief,

You didn't mention your PSA and Gleason results. Just curious and no I'm
not about to make a recommendation. You didn't ask. Of course I'm sure you
could get plenty of suggestions. The Doc that I referred to was older and
had spent time on staff at John Hopkins with credentials. He was President
of the local hospital board, etc. Should have went with a younger more
current MD rather than someone waiting to retire.
