Does it ever stop after urinating?
Hubby had RT  in March 07.

Is there anything that will make it stop?

I don't know much about radiation, but that does seems like a long time
(March-August).  What does his doc say?

I think I've said this before, but the best thing is to drink lots of water.
I'm sure he's apprehensive about that.

My burning stopped within days, so I am not an expert.

I wonder whether the possibility of infection has been investigated.

I had RT in February and it was about two month later when
the burning during peeing went away. Ejaculation, however, still
burns, even now (August). I am used to it by now. Note that
the semen is no longer the milky kind, and it is just clear
liquid like pre-cum, about half a teaspoon.

First, make sure there is no bladder infection.
Yes, there are several Rx's that will help. He's got to tell his Dr.

He was on Prosed for 2 months and the prescription has expired now.

His Urologist has him on Flomax since his seed implant.

I told him yesterday to call him.

Hubby is 77, every little thing seems to upset him now.

He might need a higher dose or a different Rx.

I think my husband was told to take it at bedtime (2-3 pills) and he took
his around the clock (one pill every so many hours). He swore he could tell
when the pill wore off. I don't want to tell you this but my husband forever
had problems with his stream starting. They did switch him to something else
eventually and that helped even more. I think you just have to keep trying
until you find the right thing to keep him comfortable. But that burning
makes me wonder/worry about infection.
