I've been on Flomax 0.4mg since Dec '06.
Recently - last week only, flow has reduced to almost a trickle again.
Yesterday it took a (timed) 1 minute 14 secs) to empty a measured 530 ml of
urine, with stops and starts.
This morning I took an extra Flomax and a few hours later, back at full
flow, 17 secs to empty 610 ml.
Any thoughts?
I recently had good fortune in the romance department and just wondered of
this had anything to do with it. I see my GP in a few days anyway.
Thanks.
Hughie.

A few random thoughts, and remember, YMMV

I've been on 0.8mg/day of FloMax most of the time since Nov 2004 -- I've
tried twice to cut it back, and both times have seen flow reduced, and
eventually decided I still needed the full 0.8mg.  Some people report
nasty side effects, but I've been lucky in that regard -- just mild
constipation, not serious enough to worry about.

Wouldn't surprise me.  Sexual activity, for me, seems to correlate with a
tendency to slow down voiding for a few hours thereafter.

I see my GP in a few days anyway.

Good luck with it.
