BAD BATCH OF CASODEX IN THE UK

On the BBC news this morning there was a warning about a bad batch of
Casodex ...

Found an article on the Times web site

Recalled drugs
Please contact your pharmacist if you have the following medicines:

Casodex 50mg tablets, batch no 65520

Zyprexa 10mg tablets, batch nos A229505, A200127 or A216454

Plavix 75mg tablets, batch no 3098 and 6Y098 (or any variants such as
6Y098/1)

Thanks for the timely warning.

Evidently, the alleged Casodex is not just "bad" it's counterfeit. The
other listed drugs are also suspicious.

At this writing, there is nothing on the (US) FDA website about it.
Perhaps the problem is confined to the UK.

I just received e-mail from Texas that a batch of fake NSAID's and DMARD's
for arthritits has turned up there.

And the FDA has discoverd contaminated/poisonous toothpaste in 99-cent-type
stores in the Gulf region (Florida to Texas).
