Oh, my God!

I am so sorry, Hugh.

Dammit, Hughie.......but you will be up and about in no time and heading
down to Braga.   Get back into *warrior mode*, laddie.

Cheers.....Heather

That's damned sad to hear, Hughie. Oh, the elbow's bad enough,
especially given your other problems. But the sad part's the last
sentence. Few of us can truly feel your anguish, but we hear you
nonetheless. Keep up the fight, big guy. It still sounds like your heart
is still strong even though your carcass is slip-slidin', and, after
all, your heart is what we hear. Many of us would like to have had the
inner strength 30 years ago that you exude even now.

Well Hughie,
That was predictable.  I forget when you were diagnosed but you've been here for
2 months and posted as follows:

What part of "go to a radiation oncologist with a copy of your bone scan" don't
you understand?
Radiotherapy can palliate bone pain and mend areas of bone before they break.

Get assertive but keep it simple.
Go to a radiation oncologst and tell him/her you want to followed (and treated,
where possible) on an ongoing basis.  Otherwise, it's breaks for you hereonin.

I am so sorry of your misfortune. Please get better soon!

I am sure that they will keep some pork sausages ready and waiting for
you in Braga!

Best wishes.

Oh my gosh Hugh ... I'm so sorry!!  I know it's easier said than done, but
try to hang in there and keep your spirits up.  Larry & I will be sending
good thoughts your way.

I'm sorry to hear about that, Hugh.  I'm guessing that you're going to
bounce back in a hurry; you seem to be the sort of man that does.

So, maybe only a short delay before yo go to Portugal?  Let's hope so!
