Hi again group:

If you have already replied to the group, could you email me directly
at TimEastonPA@yahoo.com since I can't seem to access the group digest
very well from my cellphone.

I've had diverticulitis attacks recently, and had perforated
diverticulitis surgery for colon(s) resectioning(s) 14 yrs. ago. Was
OK till recently. About to consider IGRT and wide field radiation, but
a radiation/oncologist cautioned that people with diverticulitis
should not consider wide field radiation.

Anybody have a problem with this?

Thanks!

Tim

You could look at your dilemma two ways:
1. Risk exacerbating your bowel problems with RT, or figure, "What the
hell, I've already *got* bowel problems; what's a few more?", or
2. Expand your dilemma to the bigger picture: RT vs RP. Don't forget
that RP has the greater cure rate and is less likely to exacerbate your
bowel problems.

I posted more earlier, but I don't e-mail unknown people in this group
because one of its members is desperate to determine my identity or
e-mail address so he can expand his stated and demonstrated vendetta . .
. just one of several impacts of his behavior on newbies. So you'll have
to access this issue from a computer, as, so far, no one else has
replied to your question. Besides, I can't imagine following even just
the top quarter of what this forum has to offer on even the latest and
greatest pocket wonder; you'd break its scroll function trying to read
some of Leah's posts, many of which are quite informative. You can buy a
computer for the price of one of those latest greatest cellphones anyway.
