A promising cancer fighting drug may not be developed because of
financial concerns.
It seems that a promising cancer-fighting-drug may not be developed.
Why? Since this drug, DCA, dicholoroacetate, cannot be patented as it
is already used for other maladies, the drug companies probably will
not be able to make money if they develop this drug for cancer.
If you're so inclined, write your congresswomen and men, ask them, no!
tell them, the Federal Government must provide research for this
promising drug, DCA.
The below link concerns a story about DCA from the Chicago Tribune.

This was forwarded to me from a Dr. friend of mine.

The story is from Canada and the link requests donations to test 100
vict....volunteers.
All hits for dichloroacetic acid mention either lession on gonads and
other organs (EPA) , or requirements for bottled water (FDA).
> it is already used for other maladies
I could not find any maladies already being treated by dichloroacetic
acid. Strange that the Cnadians failed to mention them.
If it's already approved by the FDA for any "maladies", doctors are
free to prescribe it "off-label" for other "maladies."
Do you have any further information about its use in the U.S.? Or
is this something that's happening only in Canada?
2,4-dichloroacetic acid: a toxic substance previously used as a weed
