this stuff masks the psa tests.
i had prostate cancer and didn't know it because of this alpha
reductase type stuff.
it can indirectly kill you

When taking proscar to shrink the prostate, you need to double the psa
reading to get the true value. My pca was diagnosed because of the
velocity change between 2 psa results, (later confirmed by biopsy), the
actual readings were low, even when doubled.
