I haven't seen a post in almost 24 hours.  That hasn't happened since I've
been here, so I'm assuming the trouble is in my ISP.

That's what I was thinking last night.

I noticed the same thing. I tried looking at the newsgroup using Google
Groups, and everything was there. I called Customer Service (I'm using
Roadrunner) and was told that they had switched to different equipment to
increase capacity. The transition was not seamless, and some newsgroups were
affected. To fix it, I was told to unsubscribe and then resubscribe. I did
and it worked.

That's what I did.  Back when I was running IT in our company, my first
response was always, "did you reboot?"  So, I figured how to reboot the NG.

I was wondering the same thing. Science med prostate cancer is the same
way. I finally started going back in time to read some of the posts I
passed over previously just to find some new stuff to read!
