Can anybody tell me how inflamed seminal vesicles relate to Prostate Cancer.
What kind of procedures are most accurate in determining if there is a tumor.
I have heard if the cancer is located outside of the prostate it is very
difficult to diagnos without opening up the patient.
Hello Jonathan,
You opened up a large book of what ifs....
Inflamed seminal vesicle could be all that is...
I would ask for a PSA test...(prostate specific antigen)
Look at the numbers.....Do you see a Urologist.
It is best to get a PSA Test.
If the numbers are in a range that are higher than acceptable, get a
biopsy...
They take cells out of the prostate, thru the anus..It is no fun, but
prostate cancer is neither...
So, when you get the biopsy result, you can decide the treatment...
Wish you the best...

You are very smart for checking all this out!!!

Jonathan, I assume you have hematospermia (blood in semen)? How long
have you had this? A quick Google search reveals that it usually goes
away spontaneously and is NOT associated w/ PCa.
