Today he received a letter:

Dear Mr Fisher,

Further to yoiur recent clinic visit, I am pleased to inform you that your
PSA blood test has returned at <0.05 ug/L (i.e. undetectable).

I will see you as previously arranged on 13 February 2007.

Kind regards,

Yours sincerely

(signed)

Mr Stephen Prescott
Consultant Urologist.

Mr Prescott was Spouse's surgeon who performed the RRP on 12 September. On
11 September the PSA was 17. The blood test was 14 November. It didn't occur
to us that he'd write with the result so it was a pleasant surprise. We did
expect that if it were still high he'd be recalled for further tests.

Very good for both of you.  There's nothing better than opening up an
envelope and getting such a pleasant surprise.
