I had robotic prostate surgery at the end of August of this year.
Surgery was relatively uneventful, nerves spared, no positive margins
or extra-capsular escape.
I'm still incontinent, using about 3 - 4 pads per day.
The really annoying problem is having to get up frequently at night to
urinate; sometimes as many as 7 or 8 times, altho not always.
I've reduced liquid consumption in the evening, eliminated caffeine,
and started taking 4mg Detrol LA. Nothing really seems to help.
Does anyone else have experience with this problem or have any
suggestions as to what to do about it?

It's possible your bladder sphincter muscles have not returned to
normal functions, due to causes that can only be discussed with your
Uro/Surgeon. This is possibly why you were prescribed Detrol LA to
assist calming them down.
Nocturia is normal, dependent on your age and prior condition/s, but
should be only 2-4 times/night.
You may need another Flexi-Cystoscopy and Urodynamics to assist with
another diagnosis and proposed measures of treatment.
It's between YOU and your Uro.
