Composed a couple of years ago as I was recovering from
surgery............
sung to the Beatles' 'Yesterday'-

Yesterday
My prostate showed a too-high PSA
The proctologist said don't delay
Get that thing out right away

Suddenly
As I recovered from the surgery
I learned the peril of waiting to pee
And the meaning of E.D.
Became clear to me

When the Muse strikes..............................

and the rest of the song.....

Oh, I believe in yesterday,
Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be,

Why the prostate had to go?
I don't know, the psa should have been low,
The uro said something's wrong, now I long,  for yesterday,

Now, some believe the prostate pca is such an easy game to play,
To rip or burn it out, they say,
Oh, How I believe in yesterday,

Now I want a place to hide away,
To where my feelings stay,
To deal with all of the emotions in play,
Am i happy or am i sad?  some will say,
We got it all, but the side effects, you will pay,
Oh, How I believe in yesterday.........
Mm mm mm mm mm mm mm

knowledge is power - growing old is mandatory - growing wise is optional
"Many more men die with prostate cancer than of it. Growing old is
invariably fatal. Prostate cancer is only sometimes so."
