Got my PSA result today from my test last week. What a great way to
kick off Prostate Cancer Awareness Week. That's 3 good tests since my
RRP of 7/25/05.
My uro still does a DRE also as part of the exam. He had a med student
with him during the exam and he had him give me a DRE also. I really
didn't mind but I can think of a lot better things to get a 'buy one,
get one free' deal on.
As the nurse took my blood for the test I told her I can't wait to be
able to donate blood again in 2010....that'll mean 5 years of clean
tests.
The other good news then is that the federal agency I work for gives
you 4 hours off when you donate blood.
The bad news is that at that point I'll only have one year until
retirement....or isn't that good news too????
