I'm 6+ months post RRP and, thankfully, have been completely dry
for a couple of months. (Well, maybe a drop or two now and
then.) I think the Kegel exercises I performed every day were
what got me to this point.
For those of you who are also dry, what has your doctor told you
about the exercises? Is it important to keep doing them
indefinitely -OR- once you achieve continence, will it continue
without doing the Kegels? I've pretty much quit doing them, but
wonder if I'll begin to start leaking more.
Thanks,
Gerry

My uro said that you're dealing with muscles. Unless you continue to work
them out, they will fail you when needed. I still do the Kegels, but not as
many.

Never really did them much, I'm 14 months post RP and dry. What I did, and
still do, is stop and start my stream with every chance I get. Worked for
me.

As I understand them, the Kegels are just a "dry run" of that. So, by
working those muscles, you're really doing them.
