I recently had prostate surgery and am suffering from incontinence.
When I'm near home, I can use pads, but when I'm out in the field for
extended times (days to two weeks), I can't carry a sufficient number.
I recently tried a penile clamp (MIC, a molded polycarbonate device
from ppstop.com), which was called to my attention by the urological PA
at the surgeon's office. I was wondering if others had experience with
this device and if there are any concerns about using it, beyond the
moderate discomfort.
I'm continuing to do my Kegel exercises and plan to take the device off
at night when I'll use the single pad per day that I can carry. But I
also do not want to damage my prospects for future healing. I've not
been able to find much mention, positive or negative, in the
literature.

How recently?
It's probably not a good idea to mess with things soon after (1½ years)
surgery. If you don't go through the whole ordeal, you're probably going to
have less success with a natural solution.
