Thought I'd share some good news.

Now 6 weeks post SRT my psa dropped again and is now at 0.15 ....down
0.09 in the last two weeks! Maybe by the time they draw blood in Sept
I'll be around zero!

If anyone is having urgency from getting zapped I just started using
detrol so I don't wake up 3 times a night and screw up my rem sleep.
Now I only wake up once.

All the best to everyone.

Sounds good to me. It's so hard for most people to understand that the PSA
falls over a long period of time after RT. It's also hard for those who have
had RT to have to wait it out. I do hope this will put an end to your PC;
time will tell and I'll cross my fingers for you.

Thanks Bev.... my brother is a PCA survivor and he says he's a cancer
survivor so far  because with cancer you never know. But I am hopeful.

Dominic, with cancer we never know; it will always be there in the back of
your mind. Our time is limited on this earth and we never know when it is
going to end. We'd all like to quietly go in our sleep when we get old. But
today how old is old? We are all living longer and our quality of life  is
better than our parents or any generation before us. What is important is
how we live our lives. As the saying goes, it's not how many breaths we take
but the moments that take our breath away. Maybe we will never live long
enough to realize our dreams but we can make the most of what we do have.

Spend time with family and grandchildren if you have them. Take the time to
enjoy the beauty of nature. Take the back roads to some far away place with
a picnic basket or splurge for that really expensive restaurant. Throw your
arms around the woman you love and kiss her with everything you have inside
of you. Because while you are waiting for the next PSA results you just
might find a Mac truck instead. We will never know when our number is due to
come up and maybe that is a good thing.

Most guys pull through SRT with flying colors. I'm hoping you are one of
them.

I like everything you said except I shudder about the Mac truck part
but you are right.
Carpe Diem!

That . . . and set our goals realistically and pursue them vigorously.
My early goals were fairly simple: see Hawaii, see Nova Scotia, and go
sailing. The first two went so well we repeated the trips; the third was
disappointing so I upgraded it to windsurfing, changing my life. Pretty
simple goals, big impact. So MANY of our friends wait until advanced
middle age to pursue their goals, and it bites them in the a.s . . . or
crotch, or heart, or knees, or mind. Nike got it right: Just Do It.

You, IP,  are so right! Right now there is a web site that is being pushed
via email as a great wonderful thing. http://parentswish.com I sent it to my
daughter and asked her to make sure I was dead first. The last thing I want
to become is a drooling drone. I think I have lots of life left in me but
someone please pull the plug when it is over!

Sorry but my daughter is a paramedic. What she sees would make your head
spin! I've only seen her upset a few times and usually it was someone young.
I never leave the house or allow my husband to leave without a kiss goodbye.
We never know when it will be the last one. You are right, Carpe Diem!

Great news Dominic.  I hope it keeps up....  er, down.   (I get PSA confused
with willy sometimes.)

And, btw, thanks for the great personal advice some months back.   So far so
good at this end.  Going on 4 mos. post RRP with Dr. E.  Post op pathology
was encouraging and first PSA undetectable.

May your psa keep droppin, my friend.
