The dialogue with you makes me fully aware of the origin and the nature
of some dreadful phenomena of the modern mentality: the
dissatisfaction, the uncertainty, the rebellion, the intimate
unhappiness of the contemporary human beings.
They have lost the deep, metaphysical sense of the existence, the
meaning of their own life, the hope of any destiny.
The Light illuminating all the environment has been extinguished, and
all the men are going on like blind ones, looking for a point of
orientation and support, getting cross at each other and embracing one
another as at random.

Hi Lorenzo, welcome to the group. That was an odd intro, but we're here to
help.
BTW, what was your Gleason score?

Like PCA? That is certainly a dreadful phenomenon.

I know what you mean. This Pomegranate Margarita is helping me get a grip.

Question for those amongst us with technical know-how. Is there an
easy way to identify posts that are just mass produced and end up here
via some automated process? I suspect this one fits that description.
Maybe not, but it sure does not seem to fit... or is it just me?

If you use MS Outlook you can block a sender. But I know of no way to block
cross-postings or spam. I'm not technical; I leave that stuff to the geek I
married.

This is how to block a thread (using Outlook Express)
http://groups.google.com/group/alt.support.cancer/msg/5996db7f4317864a
I can do it easier with my (old) Netscape.
There's probably a way for each newsreader.
Webtv'ers and those who post through Google (I think) are out of luck and have
to just skip over the posts or warn others to ignore them and instruct the
group, from time to time, on how to block.
Some newsreaders (I think) can block crossposts.
Some can block on header information.
This might be helpful to some who have newsreaders

First, pick a phrase likely to be unique to the post. I chose the phrase
"dreadful phenomena of the modern mentality", and cut-and pasted it into
Google Groups for a search. There were 117 hits, which proves your theory
that it is a mass post.

Looking at the message source tells us that complaints should be sent to
groups-abuse@google.com
Try that.

That's useless Leonard.
Google does not believe in censoring. (except for very serious situations).
