Michael Kiely - 22 Jun 2006 02:07 GMT Dear GroupMaster,
I've sent two posts to the group which were not posted. Was it a technical or a content problem? I sent the queries about AlphaDry. I did not see either post on the NG. Please advise.

This is an unmoderated newsgroup so nobody is reviewing, approving or rejecting your posts.
I frequent one moderated newsgroup and, based on my experience there, I don't want this fine group moderated!

I think Fagbimi and Leah would agree that this group is self-moderated.

If you wish to raise a new topic, write it in the *Subject:* line. (As you have done in this thread.)

I am considering using the AlphaDry instead of pads. Has anyone had any experience with the device? The website describing it is:
http://www.alphadry.com/
If it works as they say it does, it would seem to be kinder to the skin, more secure for large squirts and less hassle. It turns out that Medicare and my secondary insurance will pay for everything, so there is no cost to me. That certainly beats the cost of pads.
I would appreciate your thoughts and experience, positive or negative.

I am fine, thanks. The PSA is still in the zeros. I had a bit of a scare a while back, though. After quarterly PSAs in the 0.00-0.03 range, I got one at 0.3. The doctor put me on a monthly PSA schedule to see if there was a trend, and we talked about Plan B. Then he called me and said that there had been a clerical error; somebody had moved the decimal point when the lab report was copied to my chart. It had really been 0.03.
