i had it had to me and it was one of those add insult to injury.

i just got home from my prostate surgery and two days later, i was
getting bounced emails from where someone was selling those male
enhancement pills (remember those, that would add 3" to you?)  

they had hi jacked my email address and put it in the originating
sender.

then, they sent it out to the world wide web.

a lot of folks have a blocked addy, a fake addy, or a full addy.  of
course, they all go back to the place of the sender's address.  mine.

i was getting over 800 emails a day and complained to webtv about it.
all i got was lip service and told that i could close my account out or
keep deleting them.

so, it made me so angry to be violated like that.  and i wasn't going to
allow myself to be the victim.

it took a while, but i found the company.  it was out of florida and
they were taking orders by answering machine, so i returned the favor.
every time, i got an email,  i called that number and reported it.  i
also told them that i had a recorded the conversation of each time i
called and how many emails that i got since the last time i called.   it
wasn't long that i jammed up their answering machine.  i had given them
till the end of the weekend to clear this mess up or i was going to my
lawyer on monday (and i really was because there are laws against this,
but most won't pursue it)  within 7 days, i was down to about 5 emails a
day from this ad and within 14 days, the emails had stopped.

so, when i see this type of spammer come to this group, i break out the
knife and fork, because i'm going to have a piece of them, and if they
are stupid enough to respond - like izzy - then that just makes it even
more fun.

so, enjoy my friends,  eat up,  have a blast with this thread and take
out your frustration and angry of your cancer on this thread.  put on
your sporting shoes, because  it's called, "kick the spammer"

best therapy around.
