it seems like they are finding more and more connections between genes
and certain cancers.  it is just a matter of time before they find it
for the prostate cancer since breast cancer is the female counter part.

the bracca gene is the one they are looking at.

the risk of ovarian cancer and/or breast cancer  is associated mutations
in bracca one and two.

specifically, they found women who have bracca one or two gene, one have
have a 20% chance of developing breast cancer by  40.  a 55% chance by
age 60, and more than 80%  chance by age 80.

1000 women were in the test group, so i'm sure that the results could be
skewed one way or the other, but i felt it was worth passing on the
information about the bracca gene.

No question about it Curtis.  I wouldn't be a bit surprised that my
mother's breast cancer gene is what generated my Pca.  I also was told
that I have to watch out for breast cancer too.  Thanks, mom.
