Anyone got any funny stories?  thanks, laurel

This goes against me, but ya'll gotta larf!

On my last external Ultrasound (prior to HDRB), I was instructed to
drink 1.5 litres of water 20 mins prior and HOLD it in. (I was also on
Flomax at the time). The female operator was running late with a
backlog, so I was sweating under the icy blast of an air conditioner
outlet, biting down hard on a 2 x4!
When my turn came, I dropped my trousers and lay back on the
examination table. She put the goo on and I shuddered a tad, but when
she pressed down with the probe, I spurted uncontrollably like a baby
into her face!
Unperturbed, she insisted on getting a volume measurement, before
letting me void.
So, I grabbed up my trousers half-mast and speed-hobbled past the
reception to the men's room.
Then, I went back and she did the post-void measurement.
Needless to say, I could hear the tittering and giggling and voices
saying "Him?"..."Yes! - that grey headed old B with the bad
legs....Bloody amazing how fast he went!"

LOL

Thanks, Clarence!  I'll get it put together with no identifying
information and then see if it is okay with you if I put it on my site.

No probs...I see it's there already.

Re-read it to yourself and you'll see a grammatical error:
"Finally, let let me go....", should be "Finally, she let me go....".

The funniest line in the whole story was when Clarence said...

"speed-hobbled"

Good one, C.  :-)

Best to all,

Ron B.

okay, everybody must have at least one.  i'm going to use Steve's 'now
I can't ovulate'.  The other Steve.  Not the other-OTHER-Steve, you
understand.

The following sentence has got to be funny, because we mention it all
the time.  It is a key-phrase for what to expect (SEs, whatever.)  I
just can't figure out how to tell it funny.  It is too soon--only four
months since the doctor said, about the biopsy,

"Many men doze through it."

(Steve (THE Steve) was in the 20% who don't doze....)

Fatsiogenesis:

"The following is an abstract of an article recently published in the
Journal of Dietary Obsession, May 2004, Vol 6 pp 46-82, by Dr. Taf
Godtoh and Dr. Ytlas Spihc.

Angiogenesis has been heavily studied recently in relation to how the
body reacts to cancer tumors. It has been found that a cancerous tumor
requires a large blood supply in order to grow and increase in size.

Simplistically, a tumor needs blood to grow.  In order to have
sufficient blood, it sends chemical signals to the body to tell it to
"send up a another blood vessel".  The body, upon seeing these
chemical signals, responds by sending up a new blood vessel to the
tumor.  The tumor receives the blood it needs and flourishes.

Drs. Schiltiz and Rabi recently did research in regard to how the body
responds to fat cells.  They discovered a new physical phenomenon that
they call fatsiogenesis.

Fatsiogenesis is the process of a mass of fat cells in the human body
sending requests to the body by chemical means so that the mass will
have sustenance to grow and flourish.  Their research has shown that
the process is similar to angiogenesis except that instead of requesting
another blood vessel, the fat mass sends out chemical signals to the
body requesting another beer and a bag of chips."

Here's mine....

When I went in for my Biopsy in June 2005, my Uro had an attractive,
young female nurse assisting with the procedure.  As I lay on my side
with my hind parts protruding in the air, she took each core sample
from the doctor as he excised it.  Needless to say, young nurse had a
GREAT view of all of me.

4 days later I walk into one of the worship services at my church ready
to worship.  When our pastor asked us to take a few moments to greet
those around us, who...but WHO else would be sitting just to my
left???!?!?!?  You got it....young, attractive nurse lady.  Let's just
say, I've had easier worship times than I did that Sunday.  But hey,
maybe she didn't recognize me with my pants up.  LOL.
