Hi Gang:
Just an update. I just got my last of 8 three month Zoladez Needles and
now comes the long wait, at least 4 months or probably more to wait for
the results of my 2 year treatment. So far my PCA tests have been fine
but without the Zoladex only time will tell.
Ben the contrarian.

Thank you, Ben. Keep us posted. Best of luck. Hope you never see
another PSA # as long as you live. laurel

Ben,
After my last Lupron injection it took about 5 months for
testosterone to begin to come back, and 6 months before
it was normal. PSA began to come back a little after that.
As a radiation patient, you still have a prostate and you may
still produce a little PSA. A resurgence of a small amount
of PSA won't mean you've failed treatment. Mine got as
high as 1.8 a year after coming off Lupron, but was down
to .2 at my last reading.
One good aspect of what has happened to you is that
you know that your response to hormone therapy is very
good. Hopefully, you won't need it again. If you you do,
then there's a good chance it will continue to work for you.
Best of luck.
Alan
