Hi to this nice group. I would like to receive(just to check my healing
progress) of course if you have records of it,your experiences regarding the
intervals between a pee and the other and possibly, if you have, also the
quantity of urine ejected.
I have taken notice since my  catheter removal on feb 4-2006 (almost 3
months ago) RP jan 19-2006.
My intervals vary from night to daylight.
During night from 3 to 4 hours and quantity is
from  250 cl to 400 cl.
During day intervals go from 2hrs  to 3h,30' and the quantity vary from
200cl to 250cl.
How would you consider this figures compared with yours?
61 years old
Thanks

When I was preparing for the artifical sphincter surgery I had to keep a log
on how often I went, etc.  At night I almost always get up at least once,
and sometimes twice.  The volume is similar to yours.  During the day I make
a concious attempt to go to the bathroom frequently due to my continued
incontinence, evern post AMS 800 surgery.  The volume is therefore a lot
less due to going more frequently, but I think over the course of the day my
output would be in line with what you show below.

Good luck to you.

I didn't have surgery but, as a result of my radiation, I did have
urinary difficulties and did measure my output.

I think my output today is similar to what you have, and I think it's
about what it was before treatment.  I would usually get up once,
and sometimes twice, before treatment, and I still do today.  I
would say 400 ml is the upper limit of my capacity unless I've
slept a particularly long time and awakened with a tremendous
need to urinate.

How much we urinate depends also on how much liquid we drink,
and how much sweating we do.  After working hard on a hot day
we urinate less.  After drinking a great deal we urinate more.

It may also depend on what size person you are.  For reference,
I weigh about 153 pounds, which is about 69.5 kg.
