I had my RP 6 weeks ago, and there has been
some improvement since then. However I still
need to use pads and feel frustrated at the lack
of a reliable, comfortable method to keep them
in place.

Sticking a pad down the front of my underwear
is not a good solution - things move around and
accidents happen.

I've improved on this (cutting, stapling, etc etc),
and I was wondering if there would be interest
in sharing ideas on this topic?

First cut: diapers.

Second cut: MUCH wider pads. Otherwise, I'll be in diapers for the rest
of my life. Pads just aren't wide enough; I don't see how anyone uses them.

Third cut, first if covered by medical coverage: The ActiCuf
incontinence pouch. Google it here and online.

David, are you using boxer shorts or briefs?  Pads don't work at all
with anything but the body-hugging briefs or maybe a jock strap.  The
sticky stretch on the back side of the pad holds the thing in place. I
assume you are using "men's" pads that have a bit more room in them to
hold everything in place.  I've never had a problem with things moving
around.  Of course, if you have M.D. after your name (Mule Dick), then
anything can happen and all bets are off.

That would be amazing after RP.

I have never had a problem with the Depends Guard moving, but I wear jockey
type briefs, not boxers.  The pads will never work with boxers or even with
loose fitting briefs.

I find pads highly unreliable even in jockey shorts, and I'm a gerbil,
not a mule. But then I also don't fasten my suspenders to my shorts, so
there's sometimes some slack.
