I am very sorry indeed to see the worrisome path results you have mentioned.
I am not such a fool as to recommend for or against any particular tx,
though you are aware that there is much to be done.
Do your own research and accept no one's harangues as gospel.
Regarding ADT, study again what Strum and Pogliano have to say, especially
about Androgen Deprivation Syndrome and how it is treated. And most
especially about loss of bone mineral density.
Here is where Sharon Ondreyco will really shine.
Best regards,

Yes, I faxed the reports to her this morning. I'm kind of scared of
her. (Me? LOL!)
Anyway, she faxed back my cover sheet with info 1. needs colonscopy &
referral to Virginia Piper genetics dept, 2. CCOP (one of her office
people?) doing chart eval, 3. get baseline bone density and somethign I
can't read. Plus appt set up and scheduled. Dang, she's a fireball.
She already did order a colonoscopy but we just never did it between
biopsy & surgery. Well, we met her 2 weeks post biopsy when we were
doctorless after the Mayo fiasco.
I was trying to get the local uro set up, but they wouldn't get us in
for 2-3 weeks, and I emailed my Steve who took a copy of my email to
his GP. This is actually off the subject, because his GP is an
Internal Med doc, and I am so grateful for him. So practical and
helpful and smart. He is turning out to be a big player in our
medical odyssy. Anyway, the GP is going to talk again to the uro in
person and see if the uro will get past his own receptionist to
schedule us sooner. Hopefully this uro will be a good team player with
Ondreyco, and we wanted to meet him before we saw her, so we would
know.
Anyway, you're right about Ondreyco. Glad we're not looking for an onc
on an emergency basis. I felt pretty unprepared for A-PCa, but I guess
we did get a good grounding for this stage.
