Give it another year before panicking. 5 months is just kindergarten in
the healing process.

Do a google search and you'll find a couple recent threads on the
AMS800 and one or two threads on the sling.  But the general thinking
seems to be that you should wait at least a year before doing anything
like those remedies because most guys recover all or at least enough
control by one year that they don't need to do more.  I just got
pretty decent control back at about 2.5 months.  It's not perfect but
it's good enough that I can go without pads.  I, and many others, know
how you are feeling about the leaking, it's no fun, no fun at all. You
didn't say how much you are leaking but you most likely still have a
very good chance that it will resolve without further surgery.

Regards
Jim
