ADT hard on the heart

I'm a little surprised at this statement in that blurb: "If these
observations are confirmed in long-term prospective studies, then insulin
resistance and diabetes should be regarded as additional side effects of
androgen deprivation in these men".

It's been known for years that ADT often exacerbates any diabetic tendency,
along with several other pre-existing conditions. I guess this release just
adds weight to the older data, maybe with a causal relationship implied.
