I've recent has a prostate biospy and am waiting for the results.
I have been on the Cipro for 4 days and have noticed no bleeding at
all.
Is there a period following the biospy that one must wait before having
sex?

Regarding a prostate biopsy...
ronz asked:
"Is there a period following the biospy that one must wait before having
sex?"
I think not. The only thing is the standard warning...
there can be blood in the urine for a few days and blood in the semen
for up to a few weeks.
Harmless. The blood in the semen gets darker and darker (from red to
liver color to darker brown) as time goes by.
I don't know why there is NO blood though.
Maybe someone else has a thought.
Best wishes,
Ron B.

In the absense of instructions to the contrary, we figured the more sex
the sooner it would clear out. My husband had no blood in his urine.
There probably will be blood when you ejaculate. It *looks like* pure
blood, very shocking. Days later, he was appalled that it was dark
brown and clotty, and I posted to the NG before I saw it. Having bled
from my internal organs monthly for decades, once I saw it I realized
it was fine.

I've seen all sorts of recommendations. My urologist told me one week.
I don't know the basis for his recommendation. The blood in the semen
should diminish gradually, but may last up to six weeks.

Best is to ask your Uro.
In any case the sperms will be brown for a bout a month
+ Good luck with the bio
