I thought this might be useful for someone recently diagnosed. It provides some very
general info.
Treating Prostate Cancer
University of Washington School of Medicine presents a discussion of innovations in
the treatment and surgery for prostate cancer. Referral, initial diagnosis, and
treatment options are profiled as a prostate cancer survivor discusses his case.
It was produced August 13, 2003, prior to Dr. Porter's move to Swedish Hospital from
UWMC. Dr. Porter performed my RLRP last month at Swedish.

Prostate Cancer: Advanced Disease
Experts from the University of Washington and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance discuss
advances in the treatment of patients with prostate cancer. This program presents
innovative research into the genetic causes of prostate cancer, explores new ways in
which molecular biology is improving treatment, and presents novel approaches in
hormone therapy and chemotherapy for patients with advanced prostate cancer.
This one's more current (produced June 17, 2004)

Hi Juniper!
You're very welcome.
This was just one small thing I thought I was able to do to as a small 'payment' for
all the support and assistance I've received from this group. Although the first
(streaming) video is very much an overview, the second one (at almost an hour of run
time), was hopefully more informative.
My best to you.
