I haven't noticed any acronyms but I'd certainly welcome an explanatory list
of abbreviations.

Well, that's fascinating!
But I don't understand most of the words :-)
It's a whole new world for me to learn!

A good place to start is this page of the Prostate Cancer Research
Institute website: http://www.prostate-cancer.org/resource/acronyms.html
In fact, the PCRI site is the best I've seen for up-to-date and
objective information on all prostate cancer (PCa) topics.
And by the way (BTW) it would be courteous for us to explain the
abbreviations and acronyms we so freely use so that newbies could follow
what we're writing. Doing so at the first use of the shortcut, then
using the shortcut where appropriate later in our Words of Wisdom seems
to me to be little trouble.

Thanks Steve and Frankie and Joe,
I know most or can usually guess, most of them but somebody confused me with
SI+EBRT
Now I know what SI means. :)
It's in the HIFU thread where they also mention ASTRO...*sigh*

ASTRO = American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology :-)
