My mother had cervical cancer around 9 years ago.  It was successfully
removed.

For the past 9 months she has a pain in her groin.  The doctor performed
a CT scan on the area and now wants to perform an inguinal biopsy to
check out her lymph nodes in the area.

I spoke to the doctor again and he stated the CT scan showed something
in the lymph node in the groin and this is why he wants to perform the
inguinal biopsy.

She is 63 years old and in fairly good health.  Slighty diabetic and
does have some issues with her legs.  She lives at home.  She has had
regular checkups since the cervical cancer 9 years ago, including PSA
tests, etc..

Thanks for any help or information.

Are you sure you're in the right place? PSA test for a woman?
