Yes, Ron, I had it yesterday, and was back home early this morning.
Much less pain than I expected, and can even sit in a chair without
much pain - have (a little) more pain in the abdomen where they go in
there (like a 2" incision) even though the perineum incision is the
major one - where most of the work is done. Unlike the sling procedure,
they don't use screw fasteners into bone for a sphincter implant (god
only know how the contraption is anchored, however). Week ago today had
a cystoscopy to make sure the 9/26/05 bladder neck resection (to
correct the stricture) was effective. Dr. Levine was very pleased with
that result, no sign of stricture, so it was a go for the sphincter
implant. Doc says if all goes well he'll activate the device in four
weeks (instead of the usual 6). I don't even have swelling or
discomfort where the pump was placed in the scrotum.

Sounds good TDub...I hope things keep getting better and better.
It seems to be a great thing that they would activate 2 weeks early.
I hope it means that things are going fine.
(Seems to be)
Happy Holidays,
Ron B.
