Can we be non partisan when dealing with Prostate Cancer.
Can we be Non -religious when dealing with prostate cancer.
If we were religious, and partisan, we could never speak with each other.
So, I suppose this group is formed from men suffering from Prostate cancer
regardless of their religion, and or government.
Lets keep it that way.
We do have many past issues that arrive, and if many can handle those
issues, that would be fine.  If they cannot handle those issues, we need to
be in contact regardless of our religious choice and or government
distiction.
All should be welcomed....Prostate Cancer does not.  regardless of religion
and or government

I agree with John.

On another note:

You use whatever weapon is available to you to beat this disease.

If you believe faith, religion, spirituality is a big part of beating it
then fine use it to your advantage.
If you believe diet is a big part of beating it then fine use it to your
advantage
If you believe exercise is a big part of beating it then fine use it to your
advantage
If you believe stress managment is a big part of beating it then fine use it
to your advantage
If you believe a positive attitude is a big part of beating it then fine use
it to your advantage
If you believe medications and treatments are a big part of beating it then
fine use it to your advantage
All of the above has shown to be effective in battling PCa if you want to
use them fine - if not that's ok to.
The most effective weapon for me has been support
Support from my wife, family, friends and those of you who have helped me to
understand, fight and have hope.
We all have one thing in common that connects us all.

hi john - don't you find it interesting that ALL men are 100% in
agreement about the fight against prostate cancer, yet.......... the
same men that are united on pca, now think that their own belief on
religion or gov't is 100% right and the other person is in error???

another point to ponder.............

don't you find it interesting that men will readily accept a new
treatment toward the cure of pca and accept it on blind faith  and not
question it, but will not accept situations where there is such hard
evidence and videos of lying and distrust as in "i did not have sex with
that woman"

if we ran our research projects like what i just pointed out in the
above paragraph,  we would all be doomed to die from pca.

"trust me, i didn't have sex with that woman and i can cure you of
prostate cancer tomorrow"

oh, that's right, we do have some of this going on, don't we?

here....... drink this.....  it will help cure you of prostate
cancer.......

what is it?

urine...............  it's good for you......

knowledge is power - growing old is mandatory - growing wise is optional
"Many more men die with prostate cancer than of it. Growing old is
invariably fatal. Prostate cancer is only sometimes so."

I haven't perceived that attitude from anyone here regarding religion, and
most political "facts" can usually be proven or disproven. That leaves only
political preferences, and I haven't seen anyone here say their preference
is uniquely right.

I find that absolutely incomprehensible. The number of people who still
spout disproven left- or right-wing mantras, from "Bush lied" to "Kerry's an
elitist because he windsurfs", is stunning, scary, and, to me, inexplicable.
And that's just politics, i.e., one vote among millions; to think anyone
would make a life-determining decision -- a SOLO vote -- based on emotion or
whimsy or a commercial website alone is even less undestandable.
