Yesterday at 10:00 am. The radiologist told him that the pain would peak at
excruitiating around day 3. That should be right about the time he is
getting ready to kill bambi.
He came from his appointment Monday with liquid morphine, 1cc per hour as
needed for pain. Plus Celebrex and his Fentanyl, vicodin. The doctor
wanted to hospitalize him but Curt refused.
I brought him over here to watch him that night. He seems more energetic
since he got the morphine. He asked about a port and they said "that is
hospice" and he said no way.
I noticed a burn on his stomach from a cigarette. He knows I saw it but I
didn't bother to say anything. I am learning to not respond to everything
that he says/does.
Sam leaves for Hazelden's youth program Nov 8th for 28 days. that is going
to complicate my working nights. I don't feel safe leaving Trenton sleeping
in the same building as Curt without me there to respond to any possible
fire.
OW. hanging in there. doing good. Still powerless of others actions, but
aren't we all. : )

Deer hunting in his condition? Oh well.
Keep those guns and the ammo under double lock and key away from your
boys. You have enough tragedy in your life already.

Curt took the guns (including sam's) out of here early this summer so that
Sam couldn't do anything stupid. trenton had no idea where they even were.

My very best to you Lori.
You're doing the best you can.
Good that Sam will have a bed soon.
They will help him a LOT.
I understand your concern about Trent.
Do what you can.
Curt most likely NEEDS the pain meds but try to protect your son.
I am sending SUPER good wishes to you.
You are are a great wfe and mom and I'm confident that you'll do the
right thing.
