As I said the other night after the blood was drawn, I place my trust
in Christ. That may not be a popular thing here or anywhere else, but
I stand up for what I believe in. I post my results along with this
verse from Psalm 109:30 -- 'With my mouth I will give thanks abundantly
to the LORD; And in the midst of many I will praise Him'.
My doctor just called with the results from my first follow-up PSA test
since my RRP on August 12. The result......an undetectable .008.
All you men (and spouses, families, etc...) that are facing your
upcoming tests, I pray for your equally refreshing results!
Thanks guys!
Wes

As Mozart wrote in 1772-3 in one of the most moving musical compositions I
have ever heard:
"Exsultate, jubilate,
o vos animae beatae
dulcia vestro respondendo
psallant aethera cum me."
"Rejoice, shout,
O ye blessed souls
singing sweet hymns;
responding to your song
the skies sing psalms with me."
I'd reproduce the balance, but I'm afraid it would wander too far OT.

I too place my trust in Christ.... but that's the name of the hospital where
I get my blood drawn.
Fantastic results, Wes. Sorry, but you are going to have to wait awhile
longer to meet Him.

When facing what you, and others here face, any source of solace is
welcome, and should not be slighted.

Congratulations on a wonderful hypersensitive PSA result!
I know you went into this with all the normal worry and concern that every
man faces when told he has PC.
Religion plays many roles in many lives. Believing in something greater than
yourself is quite normal, and without religion and values this world would
not be a very nice place. Preaching is what is frowned upon, not faith.

Aaaahhhh.... you've been reading Matthew again.

I haven't opened a Bible in 30 years but it is an interesting book.

And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they
love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets,
that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast
shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which
seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
-- Matthew 6:5-7
