Father near 80 years old has a Gleason 9 that has not metastasized.
He is having hormone therapy and we all decided to only add external
radiation treatments. He already had incontinence problems and we
don't want to make matters worse.
Question is how to pick the best place to have the radiation.
Doctor recommends a free standing center where he probably has an
interest.
There are hospitals nearby who claim to be good and have latest
equipment.
Are there any questions to ask? Any way to really know where to go?
Where does your father live?? Can't answer your question unless the city is
known. And your headers don't give much of a clue other than EDT.

My personal observation was that the equipment did most of of the work. I
think I could be trained in its use in days. I was in the 2nd biggest
hospital in the Cincinnati area (metropolitan area 1.5 Million) and they
cared a lot. So much so that my wife baked them a big cake on the last day
of treatment.
