Hello everyone,

Just an update on my diagnostics: TRUS showed normal size/shape with no
unusual areas.  The nodule was isoechoic - which the Uro said meant
nothing one way or another.  My new PSA came back - unchanged from the
previous value (0.6).  I had said 0.5 in my previous posting, but the
old number was 0.6.  I guess I just misheard him last week.  So -
tentatively good news there.

He was only going to do 2 needles in the nodule itself, but I talked
him into going ahead and surveying the rest of the prostate as well.
Ouch.

So, I hope my vistor's pass holds good until I get my Bx results next
week - but he and the UT said the odds were definitely in my favor.  He
chuckled when I told him  that I felt like I had to urinate all of the
time (since my office visit last week) - "med student's syndrome."
Which I have always been highly succeptable to.

Not out of the woods yet, but at least no bad news yet either.

Thanks for welcoming me here and providing your support and insights.

Ken

You are truly a great evaluator, and going on with inspection, and
such,,,,my gosh.\
Hey, with your persistance, You may find out you are just fine.
Yes, diving deep into the prostate......It is no fun.
Anyway, hang in there, and let us know your results.
Hopefully you are not on "prostate row"
That is, you either get it ripped out, frozen, radiated, seeded, or
chemo'ed....or Whoremone therapy.... That is no fun either.
I am being a bit jest...(yes hot flashes, big tits, and no erection)
Ok, I give....
