hey people  '
i am 2 weeks out of rrp .had the tube and the staples removed last wednesday
.i was in the tube removal room laying on the table when the sexy doctor
(yes she was sweet) proceded to fill my bladder with fluid through the tube.
so now my bladder is full . so she pushes the tube up into my bladder a
little bit and so far every thing looks good .no leeks .now then
doctorette tells me to try to go to the bathroom .well i can't go. i did
give it an honest try but i must have had stage fright or something .so she
switches to plan b .she deflates the end of the tube and pulls it past the
new attachment to the bladder and puts more fluid in the tube .at this time
they notice a little leak but they say that it is just slightly larger than
my uro considers acceptable so they decide to put the tube back in .well
after 2 residents try without success to put the tube back they decide that
it would be better if they took the tube completely out so they did  :) she
took that thing out so fast i thought she was cracking a whip .in any case i
was a happy camper .anyway things are ok .1 to 2 pads a day . no sign of mr.
winky .bowel movements ok . my body itches a lot .i have been off of any
pain killers since my 1st day home so i really don't know about the itch .i
do have the disire and strength to do things arround the house but i am
taking it very slow. i did cook dinner today which made the wife happy . she
has been great with this so far.
will keep you posted .

still waiting .called today but no return. the doctor felt 99% sure that the
cancer was contained in the prostate gland so i will be positive and think
that way also.
thanks .

Excellent!  Once dx'd and with a Gleason 7, the best post-op biopsy is
probably clear margins and a Gleason 7.

Harry, May your progress continue. I found it was helpful to do as much
normal stuff as was comfortable. Soon, that included everything.

I did a walk the next day after going home, it was winter and damn cold
and with the leg bag.  After I got back home from my walk I thought that
was not a good thing to do so I took it easy for the next few days.  I
did spend time on my treadmill.  Walk when you feel up to it.  Walk and
walk some more, it really does help, but you have to know when you're
ready for it.

Don't put so much paint on the brush and use multiple thin coats
instead of one thick one.

Oh, wait a minute,  you mean THOSE dribbles. :-)
