Hi Howie.
The GREAT thing is that the PSA is zero, you're right.
I'm also confident that you can talk about anything that's on your mind.
8 months is still considered early in the post-surgery erection game.
From what the other guys here have related...the times when and if
erections return can vary greatly.
Some guys, sooner... some...years later.
Hang in there and...I'm ALSO sure that if willy starts getting 'up and
around'...you'll find something to do with him.

The sooner we find something to do with him, the sooner and better he will
start gettin' up and around. The mechanism can "rust permanently" if left
alone too long.

I.P., in discussing "Mr. Winky, Mr. Happy, Willie, or whatever we choose
to call it :-)
correctly noted:
"The sooner we find something to do with him, the sooner and better he
will start gettin' up and around. The mechanism can "rust permanently"
if left alone too long."
Always good advice, and it made me think of a question...
This manipulation, via pump, other manual forms, ED drugs or injection
is designed to help increase blood flow..which is very important.
Am I correct in picturing this as "keeping the blood flow going until
the nerves regenerate?" (If they're gonna)
I mean...the pump or shots or manual work doesn't do anything to help
the erection-causing nerves, isn't that right?
They just have to heal and regenerate over time?
Thanks so much,
Ron B.

Howard,
Maybe it would help to concentrate on the positives. Your PSA is
consistent with cancer being gone. You have a wife you care about, and
you still have an interest in having sex. The shots work for most guys.
I have had a huge amount of fun with them. You may be able to make
Willie perform like an olympic athlete. Your wife may need a powerful
aphrodesiac, like you doing the dishes, then turning on the charm. When
we were young, the chase was part of the fun. I'm convinced it still
can be. Good luck.

Howie,
I agree with Steve, Try the injection. Once you get the doseage down, it
can work very well.
It really sounds painful but it is not.
I am 3 years post-surgery and injections work the best for me. Viagra
works occasionaly but it is not dependable for me.
Good luck and congratulations on your undetectable.

Hello Howard,
I have to say, it takes time for nerves to heal.
I was 49, Have a gorgious Blond wife, and went through RP/
So, I came back, lost nerves, in the penis..Worked on it,
So the penis pump hurts.....yes it does.....viagra does not work
no it does'nt untill the nerves are connected.
Doing anything encourages blood flo.
It took me 2 years.....I was 49....I wondered if I could ever have sex
again.
Yes you can!. Like a bicycle rider, keep pumping, try the needle, and then
try viagra. Practice does make perfect./
