Has anyone here had a penile doppler test? (I hope that I get a summons doing 80 in a 35) Anyway, sounds like a procedure that should be done at a bordello with the Marquis de Sade looking on. I had a penile dopper done about five or six years ago..... You go into the lab, they give you an injection of alprostadil or some other drug to induce a full erection.... then they run the ultrasound wand up and down your penis. The *hardest* part was twenty minutes later having to stuff it into my shorts to walk to the doctor's office, which was in a nearby building. They doctor had me lay down in one of the examining rooms... to see if the erection would subside on its own. About half an hour later, a pretty young female intern came in to *check on me*. I told her that no, it had not gone down. She asked to examine me.... pulled back the sheet.... and gave my erection a good squeeze. As if she thought *that* was gonna make it go *down*! ROFL She said, "Hmmm... nope, seems like you might need some help." So she gave me another injection.... and within a few minutes it began to deflate. After MikeH's description of the penile doppler...I can see the lines beginning to form around the clinics now. Especially where the attractive young female intern comes in to 'check' on your erection. :-) Ron B. I was 1 year out or RP. Wanted to figure out how to get willie active other than a pump....what a joke. I had a 2 day appointment, show and tell. I was given prostaglandin to make my erection....not much...hum Next Day, I did the injection....70 mgs....Hum. I had a tent under the sheets.... I would rather the nurse come in than the Dr. It was very difficult to stuff willie in the shorts..... Hey, it worked, and helped me... I cannot complain...
