uro also later this month. Anybody ever hear of or have PVC (Pre
Ventricular Contractions) ? Cardio sid this is what I NOW have and it is
harmless??? Sure is scary!!! Twinge in center chest..some not felt, some
hurt a tiny bit..come any time any activity any diet etc, sometimes have
10 a day sometimes none for 3 days. Anxiety ? Yes, I am sbject to panic
attacks. These last a split second or less and throw me off keel for
that time ? (Could that be a faint coming on ?) After one of these I
feel lousy, burp a lot...bloat...and have a slight pressure in chest yet
breathing ok, left arm ok..strength ok?..wore an Event Monitor and I
have to take it in to the cardio doc tomorrow...Any input appreciated.

Howard, nothing new to offer beyond a previous post except to say "been
there, done most of that". Wore a 24-hour Holter monitor a couple of
times about 20 years ago - didn't catch a thing. Wore another thing
about six months ago for about 2 weeks. I was to push a button as soon
as I felt something come on and the thing would record the event (it
stores the previous 15 seconds of data) - again nothing although I'm
sure I had a couple of good events. About 15 years ago I had anxiety
attacks every so often that lasted a few minutes each. That went on
for about four years. Just a bundle of nerves I guess, all things
probably related but who knows. Certainly not the doctors. My first
wife worked for a cardiologist who was locally renowned for his talent
and clinical skills. He used to say that heart problems that come on
while resting are always benign, those that come on with exertion
usually are not. Of course, he's dead now.
Anyway, hang in there - your irregularities sound a lot like my ectopic
beats (which I still get every now and then) including the burping.
Good luck with all this,
Dave Perry

Howie...(I refuse to make you 'old Howard' :-)
There are many heart blips that aren't serious.
Last November...when I had the PCa diagnosis, type 2 diabetes dx...and a
bunch of tests...they threw a stress test and angiogram in there and
said..."Oh, by the way, you have Mitral Valve Prolapse which is nothing
to worry about."
I said "Huh?"
The cardiologist said not to worry about it. A certain percentage of
folks have it.
More STUFF.
Good luck, you'll do fine.
