I don't post much as I am some what new here. I have my surgery set up
September 12 with dr. Alan Wein at the university of Pennsylvania. you
people bring a lot of hope and add the very good and the extremely bad
scenarios of this very unfortunate thing that we are dealing with. so from
the deepest part of my soul I say thank you. you make dealing with it a lot
more relaxing.
thanks.

Harry,

Yours is a potentially dangerous case caught early.  You will be a
poster child for the benefits of early diagnosis.  Here's wishing you
the same excellent results I got at age 52.

P.S. "Nerve sparing" RRP, right?

Harry,

You can all but forget the extremely bad scenarios.  Since you have been
here, no one has had an extremely bad scenario that came into the club with
your numbers.  If you're worried about Curt, you need to know that his PSA
was 865 and his stage was 4D; hardly in your 6.6 / T1c range.

And now, for the first time in the history of man, a cure is within reach.
Even if you suffer a recurrence, I cannot imagine you not making it to the
cure.

i was refering to curt. i wouldn't think that it could get much worse than
that and what the whole family is going through.

'Tis true.  And the worst may be yet to come.  Curtis and I (et al) watched
our fathers die of this disease.  It definitely will get worse.

Harry,
You are in my prayers for a good outcome. The waiting around was by far
the worst phase for me.
