Just got my monthly PSA results (for August). It's undetectable again -
second time in a row. I'm hoping for a break now but I think my Uro
will want one more because of the roller coaster it was doing
previously.

3 months post op = 0.24
4 months post op = undetectable
5 months post op = 0.12
7 months post op = undetectable
8 months post op = undetectable

Think I'll have a party anyway.

On another note - a good friend was diagnosed with TCa a few months
back. They took one out but the cancer had spread. He is currently
undergoing chemo. I think a support group like this would be great for
him. I've done the Google and Yahoo thing and come up with a few but
it's not nearly as well organized as PCa support, I suppose because
it's not nearly as common.

If any of you know of good TCa support site please let me know!

Thanks all!

I suggest
http://listserv.acor.org/archives/tc-net.html

This is one of the many Association of Cancer Online Resources (ACOR) sites.

I have found their PPML (Prostate Pointers Mailing List) to be invaluable.

I think your party is justified.  If you had a 3-month, 6-month and 9-month
like normal doctors, your PSA would have been .24, <0.1, <0.1.

Enjoy the uneducable while you can.  It's not fair to you to say that your
16 PSA and Gleason 7 won't come back on you, but it is clear that if it
does, you will have celebrated your anniversary first.

Celebrate!

Yippee! Sounds like the numbers are running in your favor. Go party!

About your friend with testicular cancer tell him he's got one of the
easiest cancers to treat and beat. That's what Lance Armstrong has had and
chemo is very effective against it. My nephew had it. Actually it is very
common especially amongst the younger crowd (20+ year olds) they just don't
like to admit to it.
