I am going on 9 month post-op from surgery and doing fine: Looks like
they got the cancer; no incontinence; and still some hope in the erectile
area.
There is a concern that has surfaced that I am not sure if it is related to
the surgery or not. For the past 3 weeks my right testicle has a mild
soreness where touched. It is not swollen (rather is is much smaller that
the left) and feeling around I can't detect any hardness or lumps.
I am scheduled to see the urologist Tuesday to see what effect injections
can do for me in the erectile area.
Has anyone experienced some tenderness in the testicles as a result of
having prostate surgery, or so I worry about something else?
Thank you.

Hi, Sonny.....
Before my PCa, I had bouts of epididymitis, which caused pain in my left
testicle. It is treatable by antibiotics. Could be something like
that..... or could still just be some soreness from your surgery and the
cutting of the vas deferens.
Do be sure to talk to your doc about it, but don't worry too much about it.
In all likelihood, it is something that is merely temporary or treatable
with medication.
Have you tried sitting in a hot bath? Does that help?
Congrats on the successful surgery and recovery!!
Take care...

Good Morning Sonny:
Yes, I get soreness, tenderness, in the testicles since the RRP. I have
had hernias, so I am not sure what is causing this. It seems to not last
long and is not really "painful". It does not stop me from doing anything,
but the fact that one or the other gets sore makes me worry. Please let us
know what you doctor says about that?
Good luck with the shots. The injection itself does not hurt, although
you will feel the needle going in. If you have discomfort with the erection
itself do not give up. Many here have reported that over time the
discomfort lessens or goes away entirely. I think I gave up too soon on the
Caverject and trimix. The bimix did not work for me and the MUSE was
expensive ($155.00 for six).

Hi Sonny.
9 months is probably a little long after surgery to be just FROM the
surgery.
Maybe a small infection or something.
Like Mike and David said...ask the doc to be sure you treat it soon.
Best regards,
Ron B.

My soreness at 8 months post op is further "north". I get a spasm in the
rectal area and where the prostate used to be upon excitement and or
orgasm. (Or what is supposed to be one anyway). I'm still aware of a
different feeling in that area even when doing nothing. Sometimes
sitting for extended periods on hard surfaces exacerbates it. (More of
an awareness). Nothing hurts in the testicles though.
