I had my seeding about 10 weeks ago and while I'm doing fine, I have gone
from 157 lbs to 150 lbs even though I eat as usual. Did anyone else have
this weight loss problem? Woody

I haven't experienced this and can't think of any obvious reason
why the seeding should be related.
Has your appetite declined? Are you suffering from some depression
over the cancer or something else (most of us do)? Are you getting
less sleep? Have you been sick with any infections?
I once had a big weight loss due to a temporary hyperthyroid condition.
It was accompanied by a rapid heart beat that, in retrospect, made
that condition fairly obvious (though several doctors failed to
diagnose it.)

I've gained weight (seeds + ebrt 14 months ago) but I attribute that to the
Zoladex - and my lack of discipline.

Echoing Larry, I gained a few pounds and attribute that to the Lupron side
effects. An unexplained weight loss probably warrants a visit to your family
doctor to seek the cause.

And in a feint ricochet echo, I find Lupron is hard to overcome when it
comes to weight gain.

I lost weight during EBRT, but never considered it a problem. I attributed
it to all the water I was drinking and all the walking I was doing.

My husband gained as a result of a Rx they had him on after brachytherapy
and he ate anything that was not nailed down. He's not normally a big eater
but while on the med he ate enough for two men. Heck, it took me almost 30
years to get his waistline from a 27 up to a 33 and I'm a good cook.
Have you had any changes in medications or other things in your life? Maybe
just getting out mowing the lawn or eating more salads could be making a
difference; hot weather often changes our appetites.
