What ng reader are you using? When you respond to a post are you sending
just to the poster's email address instead of to the ng? Just a thought.

Just an aside...David S. has been working with a new set-up and other
folks have to set up a 'newsreader' as part of their computer systems.
With the few of us on webtv (Curtis, Howie and Hope, ME)...we really
have it easy.
MSN somehow does the work FOR us and we can easily access alt. groups
and everything right with our thumbs and keyboards.
No big deal...just a nice thing about webtv that folks don't think
about, and that webtv folks often take for granted.
You've taught me to appreciate it...among other things that you've
taught me.
Thank You.

I use xnews, and it work fairly well; its big advantage is that it
handles binary groups well. I have had trouble with some of the other
NRs in that that they do not handle multi-part message particulaly well.
I think I have aproblem with norton anti-virus, which seems to be
getting more and more complicated to the point where the only thing it
doesn't do is put the cat out at night. What ever happened to the KISS
principle.
