Just got my 4 year PSA result. Fourth straight semi-annual reading at <0.1.
Uro says I'm "pretty much home free", and after one more year I can cut PSA
testing to once per year.
I had seeding only, no hormone therapy or EBRT, based on RadOnc's belief
that cancer was caught early and confined. I credit excellence of
RadOnc/Uro team for the successful treatment, and a diligent and skilled
Family Doctor for catching it early and giving good advice on treatment.
Treatment was easy (in and out same day), recovery wasn't bad at all (no
catheter, I drove 2.5 hrs home from VA the next day), never any
incontinance, no effect on potency or libido.

Hi Ho Silver - 13 Jun 2005 03:58 GMT
Good news and nice to hear. I am now 5 1/2 years out from seeding, and my
last reading was <0.1 also.

That is great news Paul. I envy you on no side effects of treatment.
Good luck.
