Saw the surgeon on Friday and the surgery will be scheduled for mid-May.
The surgeon, a woman, said that she does lots of hernia repairs on men that
have had RRP. Wonder if there are any stat's on this, i.e., higher
incidence of hernia on men post RRP? This will have to be open surgery,
they cannot do another laparoscopic procedure (same side was done in 2000),
but it will still be outpatient surgery.
So, another date with the anesthesiologist. My wife, a nurse, had me
working this weekend anyway. Maybe I can find some sympathy here (ha)?
Thank you.

David S., here's a little sympathy. So sorry about the upcoming
surgery. It ought to be a snap after your last bout under the knife.
Good luck and all that.

Nursey wife here too, so I can relate! I had hernia done couple years
before RP. Sorry to say that the hernia recovery time was worse!
